I, Mr Bira Basanta Padhi resident of Koraput had severe chest pain for which I was taken to cardiology Hospital in Visakhapatnam. After doing several tests, Doctor confirmed it as a severe Heart Attack and conducted Angiogram which revealed I had significant blockages in all 3 Arteries in Dec 2020. Doctor suggested to do Bypass surgery within a couple of days on an emergency basis. But, me and my 3 sons refused to go for the surgery. Then doctor explained us that stenting was not possible as per my case and age. I along with my sons denied to stay in hospital and got discharged.
At the same time, my son’s friend informed us regarding non-surgical and rehabilitative approach. The treatment procedure is known as EECP THERAPY. After doing google search and recovered patients videos from YouTube, I found out this is APPROVED BY USA FDA and some state Governments of India. Here, Heart blockages are treated without bypass surgery or Stents, but with the Advanced EECP Machine.
I found out a place namely KALINGA CARDIAC REHAB CENTER in Bhubaneswar providing the same EECP Therapy. I approached the canter and the experts clarified all my doubts and shared their successful patients number. I completed 40 successful EECP sessions and felt better. 20 bottles of IV Fluids (CHELATION) loaded with a cocktail of medicines were injected to soften the blockages.
I thank Dr Debasish Samantray and his center who took care of me and guided me with lifestyle modifications. After taking the treatment, I didn’t have any complications or chest pain while doing all my activities of daily living till now (2023).
He has a list of patients who had to undergo by-pass from major hospitals. But, after undergoing the new treatment, they are absolutely fine and are leading normal lives, without or with minimum medicines.
